Hi! My name is Gretchen! I am a beautiful flashy fawn pup that was born 4-13-26 and am now looking for my forever home! I should remind you that I am a puppy with puppy tendencies! I like playing, napping, and lots of love! I am in a foster home and currently learning all the ropes to life! I am said to be kid, cat, and dog friendly so basically I am perfect and will fit in anywhere! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: SANDERSON

Sanderson, AKA River, is our current longest stay at the ABR Kennel. He’s been with us since December 2025. He hasn’t been in a foster home yet, so all we’ve learned about him has been at the kennel.

Sanderson is a medium sized boxer mix, confident in all situations, dominant with other dogs, high energy, and very athletic. He pulls very hard on the leash and would probably love to be a running companion. He loves all toys and likes to carry them around. He absolutely LOVES water. He’d also be a great water sport companion.
He has a very goofy personality, does know some basic obedience, and also likes to play games with staff (like keep away).

BOXER SPOTLIGHT: JUNIOR VII

Junior VII is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Junior VII ! I am a handsome 8year old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner's passing and I am not getting along with the dogs in my current home. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I never lived with another dog until I came to my current home and am said to resource guard my food and not get along with the other dogs. I have lived with 3 cats and I am said to be very friendly with cats! There are 5 kids in my home (ages 2-13 years) and I love them! I play with them constantly, am very loving and know not to jump on or be too rough with them! I am not friendly with male humans if I do not know them until properly introduced. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, eat Purina because I am a picky eater, and sleep in a crate at my current home. With my previous owner I slept in my own recliner. If the humans must be away I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am scared of fireworks and thunderstorms but love riding in the car, water, and attention 24/7! My current owner says I "appear to be broken hearted" since my only person I have ever been with is no longer here, so if you think I would make a great addition to your family and you can help mend my heart, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
