Been staying off social media so I don’t lose my mind, but as I approach 3 years of business I wanted to say thanks and let folks know that the shop is going through an overhaul including multiple new shelves and floor layout and better personal organization and communication practices. Thank you everyone for the patience, positive reviews, return business, and kindness. If you are awaiting an update from me, rest assured it is coming once clutter has been reduced.

for the second time since opening, *someone* has attempted to get my business shut down!

first time, just a month or two after opening someone claiming to be a concerned neighbor (I know all my neighbors) directly reached out to my landlord to try and tattle on me, claiming I had swarms of people going in and out all day and was blasting music nonstop. I explained it was appointment only, three or four clients a day max, and that I ran equipment at room level only, and she was completely on board with what I was doing.

today, a “concerned citizen” called 311 to report me and sent a permit officer to scope out my house and make sure everything I was doing was above board.

I obviously can’t know that these were done by the same person, but I unfortunately do have some justifiable suspicions. I would like to keep doing this specific work in this specific town despite not being able to afford paying rent on a shop space and a place to live.

Hello!

We are officially on the map as a fueling station for Bike To Work Day on 5/19!! From 7a-until we run out, we will have tacos, cold brew, water, juice, and some tools to help with minor mechanical issues and high fives.
