THANK YOU to the Shepherd 5 Points Family Foundation, Program Sponsor for DPF Basketball Clubs at Mitchell and Graham Elementary schools. We were able to support an additional 90+ students in the 2025-26 school year with 12 weeks of free after-school basketball programming, thanks to the generosity of Ben and Sam Shepherd.

The Shepherds also funded additional equipment for our program providers, Freestyle Sports and ATX Ballers, as well as balls for all of the kids to keep.

And that’s not all! The Shepherd’s sponsorship included covering all costs for DPF to offer both fall and spring basketball tournaments, hosted by Freestyle Sports, giving kids the opportunity to put their skills into PLAY!

We are so grateful for the support of the Shepherd 5 Points Family Foundation. Truly, together we are shaping and changing children’s lives!

We’ve raised over $9K during “Early Giving,” thanks to your generous donations and matching pledges from the Yonge Foundation and Benchmark Bank!

We are increasing our fundraising goal from $10K to $15K, and we’re confident we can meet this new goal with the continued support of our community, whose generosity made our Amplify “Early Giving” period so successful! 

The funds raised through Amplify ATX will support our 2026 summer programming and camp scholarships, as well as our Title-I school programming for the 2026-27 school year.
