How I work with the neck

Fascia is the body’s communication network between movement and the nervous system. Restrictions in the fascia of the neck and head can change how the entire body moves, feels, and responds to pain.

This is a minute of what I do to help my people get out of pain.

Thank you for taking care of YOU

Which leg did you cross over first?

Probably the one that isn’t as tight

Try this stretch/ fascia floss if you have tight hips.

How to do this amazing flossy/stretch

Leg up

Elbow pit to knee pit(back of knee)

Hold your hands

Counter stretch by bringing your outside foot toward the floor

Twist the spine

Feel that fascia release

To add on(get a deeper stretch)

Crossover the bottom leg

Adjust as needed, take your time

and thank you for taking care of YOU

That pain in between your shoulder blades isn’t always just “tight muscles.”

Most of the time, the fascia and muscles around the upper traps + levator scapula get stuck in a protective pattern from stress, posture, breathing habits, or overuse around the neck and between the shoulder blades.

Try this:

Direct pressure into the upper traps + levator scap

Holding the trigger point while turning + tilting the head

A pin & stretch technique to help the fascia and muscles move better together

Most people only stretch the area… but if the tissue can’t glide, the tension keeps coming back.

Try it slow. Don’t force it. Breathe while you move. 🔄

If neck and upper back tension keeps returning, I made a course that walks you through the exact routines I use for relief & mobility.

Comment “NECK” and I’ll send more info. 👇

As always

Thank you for taking care of YOU

My wife took this picture in a sandwich shop in New Orleans last week. A few days before that, we ran the cap10k. Also, hit a milestone on my neck reset course, still can’t believe it. And I’ve been getting good sleep and laughing more.

I could say simply, that I’m thankful for the support and trust. Helping people get out of pain is what I’m here to do blah blah blah

BUT look, it’s true and it makes me want to cry knowing how lucky I am to be able to help people with getting their lives back.
Pain is a real thing that can start somewhere like the neck, cause head aches, tmj, flood your nervous system with stress and then your mood changes; your mood is how you experience and interpret your life. It’s all connected - like fascia hehe. But through courses and bodywork I can do this. To me it’s still so wild.

Anyways, just wanted to remind you to not only keep taking care of you and also enjoy what you have.
Thank you so damn much💜
