The body is a doorway to access some of these unconscious suppressed emotions or experiences:

❤️The body keeps score

❤️The body is wise

❤️The body is also the doorway, the window to access information of suppressed emotions, feelings, memories, experiences that we can release, express and heal

❤️Body work, such as breathwork, stretching, yin yoga, meditation allows us to slow down, to really be with ourselves, to be the compassionate inquirer of what’s arising, what’s present emotionally, mentally, physically in this moment

Sometimes responding to acute or chronic stress, trauma, burnout and other painful experiences, we can go into a fawn/freeze response or fight/flight response, not being able to fully digest or process this experience, so it gets held in the cellular memories of our body in different ways and is also the way we can be liberated from these subconscious pain that may be playing out in toxic ways in life. This also can compromise the nervous system, which allows us to build resilience to stress and recover from a stressful experience.
