was the love of my life and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about him. I hope everybody gets to experience the love we had together. Sorry other pets, I love you loads, but Blue was something special.

Welp. That’s that. I am feeling all the things today. Mostly sadness and grief. But also resentment and betrayal. Strangely, also love and understanding. I’m happy that you’ve all enjoyed our radio show and podcast all these years because I live for entertaining our listeners! But I also love that fact that in my 22 years of radio, I’ve been a voice for those who don’t have one. I’ve been a passionate advocate for pitbull-type dogs, an ally for the LBGTQ+ community, a voice against oppression and inequality and things that are just wrong. I’m still that person, I just don’t know when or where I’ll be back in your earholes, but I just wanted to let you that I appreciate all the love and support for all of these years. I love you all. I don’t agree with Jason’s decision, but it’s his and his alone to make.

From Jason: I have accepted a new radio job which unfortunately means I cannot continue the podcast. It was a very difficult decision for me but the one I have to make. I am sorry to Deb and the listeners.

You guys remember my Niece Denise right? Well she’s talked me into a bloody Orlando theme park holiday in Sept 😳 Not my cup of tea but I’ll get to see my family for week and maybe if I’m lucky, heckle a few DeSantis fans. Anyhoo, she is instructing me to bring breakfast tacos from Austin, fine, no prob, but also wants taco recommendations for Orlando. I have no clue. Do they even have breakfast tacos in Orlando? I know that ignorance, racial disparity, book bans, gay bans, abortion bans and loads of guns are rife, but tacos? I need help. Please and thank you 🙏🏽

Adopt a Frenchie they said. He’ll make a great pet they said. Ok so yeah f**k that bc I dared to take him to the neighbour’s house for a 5min play and he’s been like this for 30mins. I’m literally laying on the cold tile floor (yes there are ‘some’ rooms in my house that are cold) in my bathroom to get his body temp back to normal. Sorry for the long rant, but please DO NOT BUY FRENCH BULLDOGS. Yes, they are super fun (except to SA Guy) dogs to have, but they are literally NOT equipped for the normal world. F**k breeders, and please, stop and think before you want a dog that ‘looks’ the way you want them to. Does that dog have the capacity to live the life you want them to have? Can they life a healthy, surgery free life? Are you the most conscientious pet parent they need???? Frenchies = a LOT of money and special treatment. Just go to the pound and adopt an animal friend who TRULY needs you.
