Akins FFA

Today our Park Ranger Cadets became Watershed Detectives with the City of Austin Watershed Protection department. They did water quality sampling and cleanup on Lady Bird Lake.

They learned about how pollution affects our aquifer and how plastics (especially micro plastics) make their way into the Gulf.

Today’s the day! The Akins FFA banquet is tonight, Wednesday May 13 at 6PM at the Creedmoor Community Center. We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate our FFA members, practicum students, seniors, supporters, and much more.

If you purchased a meal ticket, we have your information and no physical ticket is required. We have a few extra meals available for cash at the door. Otherwise, general attendance is free. Please message the ag teachers with any questions.
