The final shots from Rock Church. I shared more on my page from this location. It really is a beautiful place. The church was built in 1886. There are tombstones in the graveyard with people born in the early 1800s. This place is definitely apart of the Texas history and such a beautiful part of it too. @ Cranfills Gap, Texas

My lovely wife took care of the kids for a few hours so I took a chance to go by the State Capitol. I have been to the Capitol before, but I have never had a chance to be there by myself with my camera. It was great to actually be able to walk around the whole building and take in the beauty of the craftsmanship and architectural detail. It’s really a magnificent place and it’s crazy all the detail that has been carved into the pink granite. Plus the size of the stones set by the masons just shows how amazing human ingenuity can be when teams of people come together to create things.
