Los Angeles Fires – Austin Disaster Relief Network As the devastating 2025 LA Fires continue to impact thousands, families and individuals are left with little more than the clothes on their backs, taking refuge in temporary housing and shelters.

❄️ Freezing Temperatures Are Coming to Central Texas ❄️
ADRN Stage: Monitoring

A strong cold front is expected to bring freezing overnight temperatures starting Sunday night, 01/05/2024, with multiple nights near or below freezing. While daytime highs will stay above freezing, Overnight Cold Weather Shelters (CWS) for the unhoused are expected to activate when overnight temps drop to 35°F or below.

📍 CWS Registration & Embarkation:
⏰ 6–8 PM at One Texas Center (505 Barton Springs Rd.)
📣 Official activation is announced daily by 9 AM.
