For nearly three years, Bianca Talamantes has helped English Language Center students practice English, ask questions about U.S. culture, and get advice about life in Austin through Talk Time.

A government and sociology senior from El Paso, Texas, Bianca says the experience has been just as meaningful for her.

“It’s fun to talk to others,” Bianca said. “I want to travel the world, but even if I went to another country, I feel like I learn more from the students I talk to.”

She keeps coming back for the conversations, the connections, and the chance to meet students from around the world. 🌎
