Looking for a simple way to support the incredible, hard-working and driven young adults in our Hope’s Home Program? ⛽️🛒💕

is so proud of our amazing Hope’s Home residents, who have aged out of foster care and are working hard as full-time college students while also holding down jobs. Although our program sustains their rent and other support services, they could really use some help with groceries and gas.

Sending an H-E-B gift card to assist them with the high cost of groceries and gas can make a HUGE difference!

Please enter [email protected] to send an H-E-B gift card electronically at: https://heb.thegiftcardshop.com/catalog?tgcs_category=heb.

Any amount is so appreciated, and your kindness makes such a difference. Thank you for helping to brighten the futures of our incredible Hope’s Home residents!

Carrying Hope believes that all youth deserve to have their basic needs met and is proud to offer our Hair + Hope program, which pairs incredible local stylists who regularly work with textured hair with youth in care who are desperately in need of their services. Stylists are fully and generously paid for their time and talent. Thanks to our amazing network, there’s no red tape, hoops to jump through, or long waits for services — kids and teens in foster care receive hair care when they need it.

Here’s what one amazing foster mom who regularly utilizes our Hair + Hope program had to say:

“As a foster mom of 7 years, I take pride in making sure all of my kiddos are well dressed and groomed, especially for school, where foster kids already feel the pressure of being different from peers. Last year, I got my first African-American foster daughter and I was shocked to find out how much it would cost to get her hair done. I could not afford it. When I found out about Carrying Hope, I was ecstatic and we started getting her hair done professionally through this program. This program has been a blessing beyond words and filled a gap I couldn’t fill on my own. She is so cute and confident with her hair done and I don’t have to deal with tears after school anymore because of cruel teasing she would get. Even her teachers and counselors noticed the difference in her demeanor, since she’s got the cutest styles on campus now!”
