We are thrilled to share the incredible success of the Accenture Juneteenth Celebration, where our CEO and President of ALPFA Austin, Venus Piñeyro, joined a panel of distinguished leaders! 🎉

The event excited an engaging and thought-provoking discussion on cultivating inclusive prosperity and enduring equity, prompted reflection on the history of Black Americans, and shared thoughtful expressions of reflection through art and prose from Accenture employee-artists.

This panel, “Building Sustainable Equity in The Community,” explored strategies and solutions to promote diversity, inclusion, and empowerment, inspiring us all to take action. 💪

The importance of organizations working towards greater inclusion, equity, and diversity was highlighted, emphasizing that diversity empowers us to solve problems in creative ways, while inclusion nurtures talent, innovation, and progress by embracing diverse perspectives. Equity emerged as a core principle of sustainability and longevity. 🤝

The Inclusion Plus Institute is committed to supporting the Black community throughout the year. In doing so, we encourage you to use your time today to reflect on Juneteenth and its importance, not only to Black Texans and Black Americans but to our American history both past and present. We are thrilled to share our Juneteenth Cultural Competency Guide with all of you. This guide is packed with tools and resources that can be applied at both personal and organizational levels. They provide practical ways to celebrate and support our Black community members, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
