Join Necoya as she shares her journey in event management and entrepreneurship!

She attended Shaw University for mass communications, then quickly realized that her true passion is event management.

She went on to plan events at several associations and fell in love with every part of the process. Creating budgets, designing floor plans and layouts, assisting with registration, you name it, she loves it.

That passion led her to found Lightsey Event Solutions in 2019, with the goal of planning events that make a difference and create experiences people will talk about for years to come.

Lightsey also has a flagship event: the Mimosa Takeover, a day party all about brunch, music, and, of course, mimosas! 🥂

Lightsey is also working on a new event set to launch in 2027 for those who are in the events industry. Stay tuned!
