How is it New Years again?

Last year around this time I shared a picture of me wrapping up 2022 next to the Japanese Blueberry tree I planted, holding my newborn baby on one hand, and the manuscript of my first book on the other (swipe to see last year’s picture!)

You guys weren’t kidding when you said time flies once you have kids…

Here I am, one year later, wrapping up 2023 next to the Japanese Blueberry tree that is now taller than me, holding my 13 month-old ray of sunshine on one hand, and The Learning Game on the other.

And while I haven’t written much in 2023, it’s been a crazy busy year launching and selling my first book, releasing new exciting products at .is , and raising my baby boy.

During 2023, I had over 60 conversations with wonderful podcast hosts to talk about the future of education, The Learning Game, and so much more.

I also got to record the audiobook of The Learning Game, which was an experience I’ll never forget. You can purchase the audiobook online ❤️

The Learning Game is currently being translated into Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Arabic, and Portuguese, which is crazy exciting. I look forward to many more translations in 2024!

Last but not least, it has been an incredible year for Synthesis. We launched our most innovative product yet – our digital tutor – and we couldn’t be more excited. The response and feedback from the Synthesis community has been outstanding, and the team continues to work hard to improve the product and bring thousands of kids up to the 99th percentile (literally!) in core subjects. I will be sharing more about the Synthesis Tutor soon, including some reflections on why I think it will revolutionize childhood education.
