Did you know that about 1 in 10 Child Sexual Violence cases are never reported?
In Uganda, the law is clear: aggravated defilement carries a maximum sentence of death and defilement can lead to life sentence. Yet, the majority of child sexual violence cases never lead to justice.
That means many offenders walk free because children stay silent out of fear, pressure, or lack access to help.
It doesn’t have to stay this way, when a child reports or if you notice any sign of sexual violence against a child, report the case immediately.
