5 years. 5 freaking years.
87% of real estate agents drop out within the first 5 years. This is not a career for the weak.

I moved to Austin knowing basically nobody, and not knowing the area in the slightest, it was definitely scary watching nearly all my savings deplete in 3 months. I considered quitting at least 10 times since 2020, interviewed until the final round for another career in my first year, and worked 4 side gigs. But the friendships I’ve made with my colleagues, teammates, coaches, mentors, and clients, and encouragement from my family and friends, and strangers who I only know on social media, has assured me I’m on the right path.

There’s no steady paycheck, it’s feast or famine. With the support of 217 clients/families/investors, I’ve made it through the toughest part. The fact that 217 (and by the end of this month, 223) people have trusted me to help them get into or exit from their home/investment is so special to me, and it’s been incredible how many I’ve gotten to work with 2, 3, even 5 times!

Getting to do 3 of my own flips and purchase my own house was just icing on the cake.

I bust my butt for these clients. The amount of landscaping, painting, home repairs, cleaning, advising, counseling, stressing, cheering, crying, and ass-kissing I’ve had to do to get deals across the table and homes on the market…
I do it because I care about these people who put their trust in me. Thank you.
