We’re celebrating a year of impact across Travis County parks!! ☀️☀️

Last week, our Executive Director, Joanna Wolaver, presented Travis County Parks Foundation’s annual update to the Travis County Commissioners Court, highlighting the work and partnerships that strengthen our parks.

Thank you to Travis County Judge Andy Brown and the Travis County Commissioners for their continued support of our parks, and to our volunteers, board members, community partners, and everyone who makes our work possible.

We were also honored to celebrate the proclamation recognizing July as National Parks and Recreation Month ⛰️🌳☀️

That’s a wrap on our very first Park Stewards spring cohort!!

Over the past few months, our stewards at Reimers Ranch Park and Southeast Metro Park learned what it means to be champions for their parks through stewardship, conservation, and advocacy.

Now it’s time to put that knowledge into action! Each steward will complete 20 volunteer hours, continuing to care for and give back to their parks.

Our Fall Park Stewards Program will run September–December, and registration opens soon so stay tuned! 🌱

Big thanks to everyone who came out to Southeast Metro Park for the Austin FC Clinics 4ATX youth soccer clinic presented by St. David’s HealthCare.

Young athletes spent the evening building soccer skills, staying active, and having fun on the field with beginner friendly drills and activities. We loved seeing so much energy and excitement out at the park.
