What looks different about this clients left leg ?
Sometimes the obvious reason pain exists is because the bones don’t stack properly on top of each other
What we have seen is when the foot isn’t strong or able to create engagement through the arch , the lower leg and thigh don’t relate well together
This is where there may be some grinding , popping, slipping, or other kinds of damage happening at various joints
We see the knee often taking the brunt of the load in this scenario
Looking forward to more changes this week. Left left looks way straighter and in line on the picture on the right
This was on the same day of her intensive

Saw this quote from John C Maxwell, and have seen some interesting parallels with my journey including that of my clients
For a lot of clients I see it takes an injury that halts them in their tracks , or chronic pain that is loud enough that they have no choice but to stop their current trajectory, and reevaluate their behaviors every day
And as they learn more about their bodies , their relationship to pain, mechanics , and how to get the most out of the positions they place themselves in , they have an inherent desire to go deeper , and see what’s really possible with their body
And some clients need enough support , love (sometimes tough love) , and undying encouragement , that moves them over the edge to really push themselves
Usually it’s some combination of all of them . But it’s an interesting pattern to observe
My whole focus for this page is to give people a guide of how to navigate injuries and optimize their performance so they can mitigate injuries/ pain in the future
It stems from going through the toughest time with my body , along with supporting 100s of athletes over the past 15-20 years
