The Long Stay Project

I’ve always made an effort to be open with y’all as much as I can. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably seen the waves — the quiet breaks, the overwhelm, the coming back.

But this time is different. It’s heavier.

The past few months of my personal life have been extremely difficult and have truly blindsided me. I’ve had to face trauma I didn’t ask for, handle emotions from resurfaced trauma, piece together things I never expected to, and navigate the pain and grief that comes along with it.

On top of that, I’m caring for my senior dog with medical issues and trying to stay present in rescue — in a system that already feels impossibly heavy.

So for now, I’m putting The Long Stay Project on pause to tend to my mental health and give myself the space to heal.
