There are maybe a handful of lots in all of Steiner Ranch where you have greenbelt behind you, golf course on one side, and a single neighbor. This is one of them.
The house matches the setting. 25-foot entry with a double-curved staircase. 14-foot ceilings through the entire main floor. An island big enough for breakfast bar seating, a commercial hood overhead, double ovens, and a built-in refrigerator. The Butler’s pantry, coffee bar, and oversized laundry room are the kind of details that make daily life actually work.
The primary suite on the main floor is one of the largest in the neighborhood — custom closet system, soaking tub, rain-head shower, and a sunroom attached that functions as a gym or a reading room depending on the day. Full guest suite on the opposite corner. Dedicated office. Upstairs: game room, theater room, two beds, two baths, and a balcony with a spiral staircase down to the backyard.
That backyard has a beach-entry pool with waterfall and infinity features, a spa, covered seating on both ends, a barbecue area, a dog run, and a real grass area. The garage fits a full-size truck with room to spare.
Custom homes at this level of finish don’t come up often in Steiner and when they do, they next last long.
That sold sign and the coming soon across the street weren’t a coincidence. That’s just what it looks like when you’re working inside a neighborhood instead of passing through it.
Most buyers in Steiner Ranch are searching the MLS like everyone else. What they don’t realize is that a good portion of the best opportunities here never get there — or if they do, someone already knew they were coming.
That’s not about connections or relationships in some vague sense. It’s about being present. Touring homes constantly. Knowing which sellers are thinking about moving before they call anyone. Knowing which sections have the right floor plan for a growing family versus empty nesters downsizing into something low-maintenance.
If you’re working with an agent who covers the whole Austin metro, that’s fine for a lot of neighborhoods. Steiner specifically rewards the people who stay focused on it.
Worth keeping in mind if you’re planning to buy or sell here in the next year.
