We delivered nearly four truckloads of water to the citizens of Fort Myers, FL this week. The South Florida area is doing their best to cope with the devastation of Hurricane Ian. If you can send supplies or donate, please do.
Cold Freight Services would like to thank TQL Total Quality Logistics and their Movements That Matter program for assisting us in the Hurricane Ian recovery effort. Every little bit helps and they helped a LOT. Jacob Carnell and the TQL crew take great care of our transportation needs.

It's been a long week for the people of South Florida. Those affected are struggling just to get the basics. Please locate a charity there and donate.

The coming days will be challenging for everyone who faced . As the full scope of the damage left by the hurricane becomes clear, here's what you need to know about Red Cross services and other available forms of aid:
➡️ If you're experiencing a life-threatening emergency:
Don't hesitate to call 911.
➡️ How can you find a missing loved one?
If you are looking for a missing loved one, please report them to the state: https://missing.fl.gov/es
We also may be able to help. More tips and information about this process can be found here: https://rdcrss.org/3Rs0tZm
➡️ What's the Red Cross doing to help?
More than 1,200 Red Cross disaster workers are on the ground. Before the storm, we prepositioned enough supplies to help as many as 60,000 people. Now, our priority is meeting the urgent needs of those affected by providing safe shelter, food, emotional support, and health services.
Many areas remain inaccessible. If you need assistance, please consider coming to a shelter. You can find open shelters by visiting www.redcross.org or calling 1-800 RED CROSS and selecting disaster.
➡️ Does the Red Cross rescue stranded people?
In the immediate aftermath of a disaster, the Red Cross focuses on providing safe shelter, food, emotional support, and first aid, however, we do not have the expertise to provide search and rescue services. If you're in an emergency situation, please get to a safe place and dial 911 to connect with trained professionals who can help.
➡️ How can I get assistance?
If you have sustained major damage or lost your home due to Hurricane Ian, we strongly encourage you to apply for federal Disaster Assistance at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 800-621-3362. You may be eligible for a variety of support including financial or housing assistance.
Right now, we’re focused on making sure people’s immediate needs are being met: Shelter, food, emotional support, first aid & more.
