As the school year comes to an end, we want to acknowledge the incredible dedication of parents, caregivers, educators, and students.
This year may have included IEP meetings, evaluations, difficult decisions, new goals, unexpected challenges, and meaningful breakthroughs.
Take a moment to reflect on how much has been accomplished.
Progress is not always measured by grades or test scores. Sometimes progress looks like a child finding their voice, gaining confidence, building independence, or simply knowing they are supported.
Wherever your family is on the journey, we celebrate the effort it took to get here.
What is one accomplishment you're proud of from this school year?
Share it in the comments. We'd love to celebrate with you.

Advocacy does not have to start perfectly.
It just has to start.
Every question asked, every concern documented, and every step forward matters.
You are not alone.

What if recess is not just a break, but one of the ways some students move, reset, connect, and return to learning?
Recent guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics has brought renewed attention to the role recess can play in a child’s school day.
For students with IEPs, this can be an important conversation. Every child is different, but it may be worth asking:
Could recess support regulation, focus, social practice, movement, and access to learning?
At Learning Differences World, we help families ask thoughtful questions and look at the whole child when navigating the IEP process.
