Position Summary:
As a member of the Greffex science team, this position will be responsible for understanding and performing testing of products or troubleshooting related projects. The purpose of this role is to provide technical and analytical assistance in development of viral based vaccines and gene therapy delivery systems.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Conduct experiments in DNA/oligo quantification, gene amplification, sequencing, and other relevant experiments in molecular biology or related fields.
• Passaging of immortalized human cell lines, both in suspension and adherent, using aseptic techniques.
• Work safely and comfortably under BSL2 conditions.
• Protein purification
• Comply with all quality policies and actively participate in maintenance and updating of all required SOP’s and quality records of equipment maintenance, tests, analyses and designing experiments as needed.
• Manage and prioritize daily assignments approved by Supervisor to ensure completion of the assignment.
• Manage and maintain required reagents, laboratory environment and equipment needed to carry out assignments.
• Collaborate closely with other teams in the department to complete highest priority work as directed.
• Responsible for understanding and implementing relevant company and department policies and procedures.
• Attendance and participation in schedules planning meetings and/or status meetings.

Education/Training Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences or related fields.
• Courses and bench experience in genomic studies recommended.
• Basic course work in molecular biology, nucleic acid chemistry or equivalent.
• Fluorescent microscope and FPLC chromatography experience recommended, but not required.
• Must be highly motivated individual that can work with with minimal supervision.

This position would manage mostly business-related tasks such as creating reports, taking meeting minutes, reviewing bookkeeping and other organizational tasks. This position will also be responsible for basic accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, filing and organization.

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Maintaining files and updated records.
• Attendance and participation in schedule planning meetings and/or status meetings.
• Handling basic bookkeeping skills.
• Track orders and supplies.
• Reviewing, filing and retrieving corporate accounting records, documents and reports.
• Accurately record minutes from meetings.
• Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
• Provide general administrative support.

Education/Training Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have excellent communication and organizing skills.
• Must be a highly motivated individual with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
• Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
