Meet Chris! Chris received a bike through our Bike Ministry to help him get to work. This life-changing program is made possible by our dedicated volunteers and the generous support of our community. Thank you to everyone who helps make this ministry possible and gives others the opportunity to gain reliable transportation and greater independence. Earlier this month, our friends at Nicor Gas stopped by to help serve lunch in our Adult Shelter, sharing not only a warm meal but also kindness and connection with our guests. In addition to giving their time, they made a generous financial donation to help care for our neighbors in need—extending their impact far beyond the day! Hesed House is truly grateful for their compassion and dedication, reminding us that when we show up for one another, even small acts can create lasting change.
