Today, we celebrated 65 years of the Association for Individual Development (AID)!

Thank you to all our dignitaries, staff, partners, supporters, and elected leaders who joined us for this special occasion. We are proud to recognize the people and community partnerships that have shaped our impact across the region for more than six decades.

As we honor this meaningful milestone, we remain committed to building a future where every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

🚂Last month, AID STARS Community Day Services and Main Street Lofts Behavioral Health clients and staff braved the heat to see the Big Boy No. 4014 Steam Locomotive in West Chicago!🇺🇸

From the old-timey trolley and the mayor dressed as a classic train conductor to the main attraction itself, everything was perfectly themed and so immersive! 🤩 It was a wonderful way to kick off the summer season ✌️🌞

Donor Days of Summer is a month-long July fundraising campaign celebrating 65 years of changing lives. Throughout the month, supporters can make a donation, purchase exclusive 65th Anniversary summer spirit wear, or join The GEM Circle- the new monthly giving program launching July 15.

Every contribution helps AID provide life-changing programs and services that empower people to live with dignity, purpose, and independence.
