This airplane is a specimen and I started calling it “The Prom Queen of the hangar”.

This retired Thunderbird will continue to inspire kids for generations to come.

What a great morning to reconnect with friends and to see the mass amount of people and airplanes out to support the Ron Davies Memorial Veteran Airlift.

Ron was a committed supporter of the VFW Post 9644 and after his passing they dedicated the Airlift to him.

Pilots and their airplanes flew food and toys to rural areas of Colorado to help take care of those in need.

I love our aviation community here in Colorado, they do some really generous things.
