What a great start to our Saturday. Uninterrupted sunshine has led to quickly heating temps. Past noon, it starts to get into that “take it easy out there” category. Heat index values as high as 107 both days this weekend.
Storm chances arrive for most past 4-5 PM through Sunday. Many will stay dry, but the sea breeze could collide with more storms to the north and produce some late night thunder in a few locations. Don’t expect it to be as widespread as last night.
Our next big weather maker arrives Wednesday. It’s not entirely from the Gulf, but also from a “cold” front moving in that will bring the chance for a few stronger storms, very typical summertime stuff here. Enjoy this great weekend!
