NOTICE: At around 0900 today there will be a procession for the fallen warden, The path will be Hospital Street to Bangor Street, Riverside Drive to Rt.3 and then Rt.3 to the Interstate NB.

Please provide room for the procession to pass by, feel free to stand and salute as the procession passes.

Two years have passed since Retired Battalion Chief Guimond left us, but his presence and impact on Augusta Fire-Rescue are still felt here at the station.

Chief Guimond dedicated 34 years to our department with his leadership, and commitment to the City of Augusta.

Time may pass, but he is not forgotten. His stories are still shared, and laughter is still had thinking about Danny.

We remember Retired Battalion Chief Guimond with respect, gratitude, and honor. He will always remain a part of the Augusta Fire family.
