Wednesday Morning core choices 💙!
I asked the team to choose one of the core movements that would most humble them instead of doing what they knew they could! I loved coaching yesterday!

Today, we reflect upon the brave men and women of the armed forces who laid down their lives for our country and our freedom.
We hold in our hearts those, who did not return.
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."
John 15:13
Their sacrifice will never be forgotten as we remember and honor our fallen heroes this Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

There were EIGHT GEvo's in the House yesterday morning with me, but it felt like there were 100!
“Raise the Roof” Boot Camp was, how the kids say, FIRE!🔥
Battle Ropes, Slam Balls, Full Body Work and a Fast + Furious Team Step Finisher which everyone PUSHED through! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I really had a FANTASTIC morning with you all.
Thank you Team!

My parents owned a fuel oil company in Brooklyn, NY.
It was called VICO.
Short for Vitucci Company….
We lived in Dix Hills.
It was a 50-70 minute commute on the LIE to the BQE to Williamsburg and then to Montrose Ave…to the garage…where all the cool oil trucks were.
I can still smell it now…decades later.
Marie and Tony (my parents) made the trek every morning, Monday thru Friday to the garage for a full work day…
My mom ran the office with Laddie and Renee, in high heels and black slacks…although each day of the week meant a different blouse. Button up. Poofy. Flare.
My dad, always dapper even in his work blues kept the garage on its toes and our service men, Michael, Eddie and Tad organized.
If he wasn’t meeting with new customers or shaking hands with somebody…he was driving.
They had one of those Panasonic flip clocks..the ones than FHH-LIPPED a new number every 60 seconds. The numbers were orange or at least that’s how they glowed and the alarm clock itself was a fashionable 70’s / 80’s brown.
From Sunday - Thursday my parents would set their fancy wake up machine to 4am/4:30am so they could jump in the Blazer…or the Caddie to be in Brooklyn by 6am.
I remember saying MANY times out loud and to myself…I will never wake up that early for work…
Meanwhile God apparently heard that statement and said, “That’s adorable.” Because now my entire life somehow revolves around 4am wake ups, 5am coaching and talking loudly to mah gym peeps before daylight and common sense arrive. 😄
LOVE IT.
Look at all this goodness!
