Zillow does not know all. In fact, Zestimates have been shown to be between 10% to 42% in error when estimating home values. Online valuations can never take the place of a professional CMA (comparative market analysis) as well as valuable home sales advice and guidance from a local, experienced Realtor.

Bottom Line: Some urban myths are silly and harmless, but others can cause you to spend money you don’t need to and get easily overwhelmed when trying to sell your home. Working with a real estate professional is the best way to avoid myths like these and ensure you have a successful experience.
