Savannah Riverkeeper, like many environmental non-profits, has found that current economic realities require a certain degree of sacrifice. One of the corners we have cut is our regular water testing programs. Previously, our Veterans For Clean Water Coordinator Truck Carlson has taken water samples and tested them for contaminants in our lab. That has become cost-prohibitive. However, we understand that this is important work and, with that in mind, Truck has agreed to taste-test samples until we can reopen the lab.
Pictured is our first sample using this method. Truck declared it earthy and said it would pair well with fish.
