UMA Student Life
April is stress awareness month and as part of this year’s campaign, UMA’s Counseling & Wellness Department has equipped the meditation and prayer room in Randall Student Center (Room 217) with breathing exercises, guided meditations, and simple yoga poses.
NOTE: Students can access the space when Randall is open. Please be sure to pay attention to the “in use” sign on the door and not disturb anyone who is already in the space.
Not near the Augusta campus? No worries, we've provided some guided exercises you can try at home. Watch the full video: https://ow.ly/TOxm50YHciy

New club alert! 🚨 Introducing Seen & Herd: UMA’s new LGBTQIA+ club
Interested students are invited to our first meeting on Tuesday, April 7, at 3:00 pm, in Randall Hall room 218 and on zoom. For more information and to receive the zoom link, please contact faculty club advisor Amy Cyr at [email protected] or student Fray Bennett at [email protected].
The club will hold both in-person and virtual events and provide a safe space for folks to gather and connect. Opportunities exit to hold a leadership role, as officers need to be selected. All LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies are warmly welcomed. We hope to see you soon!
