More gravel racing this past Saturday! This edition of the series took place in beautiful Hot Springs, NC. Nice to see this little western North Carolina town that is nestled in the mountains making a full recovery from the effects of hurricane Halene. Being in the mountains means lots of climbing, lots! Some of these dirt roads had me wishing for even lower gears! Thank goodness both the short and long course distances are adjusted because of this. This year I managed 6th overall in the short course and that got me the top step in the men's 50 to 59 age group. Betsey was the overall women's finisher in the short course and that got her first in the women's 19 to 39 group beating a lot of the boys as well! Clarisse Coupey rounded out the Pro Women's podium with third place! Gotta give some props to Alex Deal for his 14th place overall in the short course who looked strong crossin' that finish line. Good day of titanium anodizing. I think it went well!

TiNee titanium frame heading to ATL soon after some brushed, bead blasted a bit of anodizing finish work. Super custom geometry designed around the Enve carbon road fork. 35mm max measured tire clearances, Shimano di2, 155mm long cranks. UDH dropout with internal routing for the brake hose. The machined head tube is 75mm tall!
