Hephzibah, GA – Douglas King, Sr., 85, husband of Zelma Munn King, entered into rest Sunday, September 18, 2022, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held from Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2:00 o’clock on Friday, September 23, 2022, with Reverend John Kilpatrick officiating.
Friends and Family will meet at the grave.
Mr. King, son of the late Ethel and Preston King, was born in Alachua, FL.
Mr. King was a Veteran, he served in the US Army and He owned and operated Doug’s Meat Shop on Deans Bridge Road.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Douglas King Jr. (Kim), Diane McGaugh (Jayson); his grandchildren, Jayson McGaugh, Douglas Clint King; his brothers, Donald King, Norman King; his sister Betty Munn.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 o’clock at the funeral home.
