Came out to the West Coast to network and get 1 step closer to my dreams. A special thank you to my good friend for the invite and all the support. We can’t do anything without God and help from others. I’m focused on doing my part, working incredibly hard, and being good to people. The best is yet to come!

It’s been 20 years since I 1st stepped foot on campus. How I wish I knew then what I know now. As the years go by you see less and less people you went to school with on Homecoming Saturday. (Especially the crews we hung out with) One of my biggest blessings in life is the fact that I’m still close with my crew, made up of 10+ guys from all over the country. Last weekend we told a lot of the same stories we always tell, spoke about the 1’s that got away, shared our thoughts on marriage & fatherhood, talked about our dreams, but most importantly checked in on each others mental state. It’s not easy being a man let alone a black man, but we’re doing so well. I’m so proud of each one of my friends. I hope to see more people next year. Our biggest blessing is each other.
