Employee Spotlight: Veronica

This month, we're proud to highlight Veronica, who is approaching 5 years with AngleZ Behavioral Health Services!

Veronica began her journey with us as a DLS and Adult Care Coordinator before transitioning into her current role as a Children's Care Coordinator, a position she has held for the past three and a half years. Throughout her time at AngleZ, she has made a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families she serves.

As a Children's Care Coordinator, Veronica helps connect children and families with valuable resources and support systems. Whether she's attending medical appointments, school meetings, or intake appointments, she is there every step of the way, advocating for her clients and helping them navigate challenges.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at AngleZ, Veronica shared that she values the connections she has built with both her members and the community. The relationships and bonds she's formed over the years are what make her work especially meaningful.

Her coworkers describe her as compassionate, a strong advocate for her clients, and a true team player. Veronica has a way of making both clients and colleagues feel comfortable and supported. Her bubbly personality and positive energy make her a joy to work with, and she's the kind of friend everyone wants to have.

Outside of work, Veronica enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, going to the movies, and mini golfing. She also loves hosting gatherings, from backyard BBQs and game nights to fun themed parties. And of course, she enjoys spending time with her beloved cat, Candy!

At AngleZ Behavioral Health Services, we believe strong communities are built by investing in the next generation.

That's why we're proud to support the Capital Area Recreation Association (CARA) and their ongoing efforts to provide safe, welcoming spaces where local youth can learn, grow, compete, and build lifelong friendships. If you've driven along Piggery Road or attended a game recently, you may have noticed our new signs proudly displayed at Morton and Linscott Baseball Fields!

For more than 50 years, CARA has served the Augusta community through volunteer-driven recreational programs and facilities that host baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and many other youth activities. What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into one of the area's most valued recreational complexes, supporting hundreds of young athletes and families each year.

At AngleZ, our commitment to community extends beyond the services we provide. We are honored to support organizations like CARA that create opportunities for youth to develop confidence, teamwork, character, and a sense of belonging, qualities that help shape healthy futures.

Thank you to the dedicated volunteers, coaches, parents, and supporters who make CARA possible. We are grateful to play a small part in helping keep these fields and the opportunities they provide available for our community's youth.
