If anyone 'back then' would've told me my family would've gotten to a place of extreme detachment, I would've laughed so hard. Nothing to laugh at now. It's incredible how much not having family ties and relationships effects so many parts of my life. I'm really tired of it. Me being vocal about starts NOW. I have broken many possible relationships, actual relationships and endeavors b/c of the learned behaviors from dysfunctional family ties. There are situations, people and goals I have in my life that I am trying to protect from my tendencies stemming from not having healthy relationships within my family as heal still live.
