If in your attic under the a/c unit you have a pan that is all rusted like this one, you have a drainage issue. The fix is 2 mins and saves you big $$$$. The 2nd pic shows the drain. The U part more than likely has a build up of muck. Remove the cap I circled and use something flexible to swab it. The blockage needs to come out the open side. To make sure you did it right, put the cap back on and pour a few large cups of water down the open side and look down the top to see if it's flowing. This should be done yearly to avoid water dripping from your ceiling. Yes, that's my ceiling. I hope this helps someone.
