Annual Georgia Legislative Day!

The Patient Centered Physicians Coalition of Georgia hosted 300 physicians, composed of OBGYNs, pediatricians, and family medicine physicians, to discuss both specific issues we face in each field and challenges faced by all physicians in the state of Georgia. We learned basics of what it takes to be a lobbyist and then went over to the capitol to specifically seek out our representatives to discuss these issues and barriers we still face to provide complete care for our patients. We also sat in the gallery to observe how Georgia representatives pass a house bill in order for it then to be sent off to the senate for further review.
