Pacific Dunes
Still processing an awesome 3 days at Bandon, but I’ll start dumping the photos on here.
Oregon is so beautiful and I encourage anyone making this trip to make a road trip out of it honestly. It’s blessed land and probably quite hard to make a bad hole in some places! Still, Pac Dunes is a really consistent 18 holes with of course the highlights being the relentless coastal holes.
It’s the first modern links I’ve played and does feel notably different. It’s still running golf but much wider off the tee to the majority of the UK links - largely because they have so much damn space in Oregon.
Incidentally I got it on a half-club wind day without a drop of rain - the pro said I missed out on the full experience 😂
Absolute gem from my Swing Support programme this one.
Swing Support is a great option for people who maybe:
1. Don’t have much lifting experience.
2. Don’t have access to gym kit.
3. Are a bit nervous about being sore from sessions.
4. Would like to learn the key movements before diving in to the full Athletic Golf programmes.
5. Would like to get better at golf 😜
All run through an easy to use app with video demo’s and written instructions.
Whilst I have a handful of international members on the Athletic Golf programme, most of you will be unleashed onto the golf course next week!
You’ll notice I’m going to put some range warm-ups onto TrueCoach to accompany all AG programmes 😍
For those of you not on one of my programmes, can I suggest you gives some of these a go before you tee off?
Cossack transitions are a great way to get into the lateral hip and obviously have some nice weight transfer benefits if you’re about to play golf.
