If you’re flying out today, just a heads up… the airport situation is a little messy right now. Between the ongoing funding lapse with Department of Homeland Security and the legal issues tied to Transportation Security Administration union contracts, a lot of agents are still showing up to work without pay.

NO fast lines today:
Programs like PreCheck AND Global Entry are paused because of the partial shutdown, so everyone’s stuck in the regular security

Winter Storm Hernando is moving through the East Coast, causing even more delays and cancellations.

Get there SUPER early if you’re at big airports you need a minimum of about 3 hours or more.

PLEASE be patient and kind. TSA agents are still showing up to keep us safe even though they’re not getting paid right now. A simple “thank you” really matters.

Also, be prepared. Your flight(s) could be canceled for a few days.
