Hello, everyone, and welcome to UMAMI! This is our new official page! Here is where we will be updating you all on our business hours, menu, and specials throughout the year! UMAMI opened its doors March 21, 2019, so we are still very new! However, our chef-owner, Chef Daniel, has over 30 years of restaurant experience, and it shows in our fresh, delicious Pacific Rim cuisine!

What is Pacific Rim cuisine? It's a taste of the variety of food that's made in countries all along the Pacific Coast! That includes Japanese, Korean, Thai and Indian cuisine -- as well as others! At UMAMI, we offer dishes from these countries as well as a variety of other menu options! We've got soups and salads, cold and hot small plates, noodles, rice bowls, entrees and desserts (you can check out our fully updated menu at our About Page).

As you can see from our cover photo, we have a beautiful bar. We are currently preparing for its opening, where we will be offering draft beer, bottled beer, wine and more! We are very excited about serving the Auburn and Opelika community!
