Buhach Colony FFA

Fair week was one to remember for Buhach Colony FFA’s beef cattle exhibitors! Leading the way was Logan Burroughs, who had an exceptional show season by earning Supreme Champion Registered Female, Champion Feature Breed Female, and Champion All Other Breed Female, while also advancing to the prestigious Round Robin competition. Jordan Avila showcased outstanding skill in the ring, placing in the ALB division and capturing the title of Advanced Showmanship Champion. Kai Sanches, Jordan Avila, and Logan Burroughs each exhibited successful breed animals, highlighting the quality of cattle being raised through our program. Representing Buhach Colony FFA in the Market Master Cattle Association (MMCA) were Kai Sanches, Jax Vawter, Logan Costa, and Payden White, who all demonstrated dedication, hard work, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the week. We are incredibly proud of these students for their commitment to agriculture and for representing BCHS FFA with excellence at the Merced County Fair.

Our market goat exhibitors were Isaac Ramirez, Mia Turner, McKenna Edrington, Logan Burroughs, Kai Sanches, Payden Whjte, Anya Gieling,Haylee Wortman, Aubree Flores, Jenna Tassey, and Bodie Turpin!

Results for the show are as follows!

Mia Turner was 3rd in her market class!
Kai Sanches was 1st place class in market and an Advanced Showmanship finalist!
Logan Burroughs was 2nd place market and an advanced showmanship finalist!
Payden White was 5th in her market class!
McKenna Edrington was 3rd in her market class!
Anya Gieling was 1st place in market class and 7th overall advanced showman!
Aubree Flores was 2nd place in market and
2nd overall freshman showman!
Haylee Wortman was 2nd place in her market class and 10th place in advanced showmanship!
