Calling all college students in the Philadelphia area, South Jersey and Delaware!

There's still time to apply for the inaugural Michael I. Days
Scholarship for aspiring journalists. To expand the pool of eligible applicants, we are waiving the NABJ membership requirement. We want to
reach as many deserving students as possible — exactly the kind of opportunity Mike would have wanted us to create.

Don't wait. Pull out your resume, gather your media samples and submit your application by April 15, 2026.

NABJ-Philadelphia will award two $2,000 scholarships in memory of Days,
our first chapter president, a legendary journalist and media executive,
and a committed mentor who inspired and opened doors for generations of
journalists. The scholarships will be awarded during our NABJ Region 1
reception on Friday May 1, 2026.
