We Inside: A Winter Series About Pregnancy Nutrition & Exercise returns every Thursday!
Proper hydration during pregnancy is important for multiple reasons. As a pregnancy progresses, the body's blood plasma volume increases by about 50%, and hydration plays a significant role in this process.
Telling a pregnant person to “drink your water” doesn’t address how much, what kind, or other information that is necessary to constitute adequate guidance. So, in the next We Inside workshop, we’re going to dive deep into Hydration. Join SisterSong's Birth Justice Coordinator, Shanti Moore, for an in-depth conversation about the details of hydration every pregnant person should know.
🗓️This series will be offered every Thursday during the month of February. Register via Eventbrite in the link in bio!

In reflection of the Reproductive Justice tenet that all people have the right to raise their children in safe and sustainable communities, SisterSong is mobilizing a supplies drive in support of the people of Jamaica as they continue to rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. 💜
Long after the storm, families are still navigating disrupted healthcare access, limited resources, and the ongoing work of restoration. Community care must travel beyond borders and it must be sustained.

TOMORROW‼️ we’re walking out like Martin Luther King, Jr. would’ve wanted us to.
Today marks the 40th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The most important thing we’ve learned in those 40 years? We’re stronger together.
Join us tomorrow, January 20th, for the Free America Walkout: a nationwide protest organized by the Women's March that proves to Trump’s regime that we are more united than ever.
The reason MLK left such a legacy is because he brought advocates together from all walks of life. And as we witness massive human rights violations across the country, from ICE kidnappings to attacks on trans children, we must fight to uphold the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
We fight to honor the work that he and so many of our ancestors did to pave the way for us. And we fight to change our own material conditions right here, right now.
