𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀.
The project hit every milestone.
🟠 The Budget was managed.
🟠 The Timeline was clean.
🟠 Stakeholders were updated throughout.

On-time delivery of the wrong thing is one of the most expensive outcomes in project management. And it happens more than anyone wants to admit.
Because the pressure to deliver can drown out the question of whether we should be delivering this at all.
𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
➔ At kickoff: "What problem does this solve, and how will we know it's been solved?"
➔ At every major milestone: "Has anything changed that affects whether this is still the right solution?"
➔ At delivery: "What does success look like 90 days after we go live, not on launch day?"
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗠 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻.
They protect it from becoming a beautifully executed mistake.
