In light of a recent public event that took place on the football field I want to bring attention to a critical moment.

“During the first Monday night football game of 2023, Buffalo Bills player, Damar Hamlin, 24, collapsed from cardiac arrest after tackling a player from the Cincinnati Bengals. The medical staff from both the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills, as well as the EMS crews at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati were immediately at his side. The chain of survival was quickly initiated. Many viewers and spectators watched in collective disbelief as medical personnel and first responders performed CPR and used a defibrillator on Hamlin.”

As we all came together and prayed and sent good energy… I truly think it’s also time to educate our communities on what to do if a situation like this or similar happens around you.

Knowing how to effectively perform the technique of CPR is vital!!!

My name is Brandi Lawrence-Robinson. Many of you may know me from various places but I want to take this time out to introduce myself as Your Favorite Coach... You may ask why?? Well I'm actually quoting what my students say lol
I have been teaching a life saving technique for the last 6 years and now more than ever it's becoming vital to know how to perform CPR in situations where your applied knowledge can be apart of someone's testimony.

I recently had a student reach put to me and all she said was thank you. I replied you're welcome but who is this? She said you may not remember me but I took your class a year ago and last week I was able to save my boyfriends life.

Now I sat still for a minute and said wow!

Needless to say she referred me to her family and I was honored to do a training for the entire family (teens and all).
