We're excited to welcome you to Atlanta History Center’s Juneteenth celebration, Friday, June 19!
Join us as we celebrate with inspiring performances and activities that highlight the legacy of freedom and encourage us to connect, learn, and reflect together.
As our country reflects on 250 years, we come together to honor the ongoing journey toward freedom for all. Juneteenth brings us together to recognize the strength, resilience, and amazing contributions of Black Americans, from emancipation in Galveston to the heart of Atlanta’s civil rights movement.
Juneteenth is also part of our two-week Civic Season festivities, inviting everyone to get involved and make a difference.
