I am so sorry about the hallelujah trend, it's bothering me because it basically passes off the success of an online post to Jesus/God.

Let's be serious. These are human beings that are mimicking these posts and doing their due diligence to being relatable to other human beings. It helps to understand from a marketing perspective when you own your own businesses.

We know what needs to happen when your business needs to thrive. You must think about your ideal customer and how they find you, and we are absolutely the best at that! No disrespect to Jesus but he's got his hands full.

Allow me to introduce myself to my new people, and because it has been a hot minute...

My name is Sunshine and I run Switchblade Media, which was born out of my desire to be able to write and help businesses communicate effectively.

When my first son was born 13 years ago, I knew that I could not re-enter the corporate world and put him in daycare. We would barely be able to afford the daycare, and I felt like I would miss out on him growing up, so I started my agency during the day with my infant son in my lap while I bartended at night.

I will forever be grateful to the people who supported me at the beginning of this business. Having a new baby, working late nights, pumping breast milk in the restaurant bathroom standing up, and then building building building during the day with my son was a challenge to say the least.

It got me to where I wanted to be, which was to work independently, and to raise my children and family in Costa Rica. It was certainly not overnight, but it was my goal, and I wasn't going to stop until I had achieved it

We have lived in Costa Rica for 9 years, and I have raised both of my sons in an environment that is so free, beautiful, and nurturing that it makes all of the hardships disappear.

We have just recently expanded Switchblade into Latin America, Canada, and soon to be Europe! This is an amazing time for us, and the projects that we are helping are clients with are incredible. I will be sharing more here as we move along!
