The Department of Transportation recently opened the $126 million Brampton Road Connector. This new four-lane freight highway directly links the Port of Savannah’s Garden City Terminal Gate 3 to the Interstate 16 corridor, completely bypassing local neighborhood streets and eliminating sluggish at-grade rail crossings to accelerate regional supply chains.

New trucks-only highway connects Port of Savannah to I-16 FTR reports new all-time high for Trucking Conditions Index. Also: The new Brampton Road Connector, opening July 15, is a new four-lane highway linking Garden City Terminal’s Gate 3 directly to I-16; Texas converting I-30 weigh station to truck parking.

Allie will be hitting the stage alongside Steve Abley (CEO of Abley), Jay Porter (University of Georgia Extension), and moderator Laurie Bauer to tackle Emerging Issues in Transportation Safety.

Expect a deep dive into real-world solutions, including a look back at our 2025 data safety pilot project with Abley and the Georgia Department of Transportation in Carroll County!

We're excited to share that the Transmission in the Right-of-Way Tool was selected to showcase at the Permitting Innovators Expo, a program of the White House Council on Environmental Quality!

Permitting Innovators identifies tech solutions with the potential to help accelerate and modernize federal environmental reviews and permitting by improving how agencies manage data, systems, and processes.
